Okay, I told myself that I wasn't going to post this soon after the friends only post. But I have to. I seriously can't resist posting on this matter.
I read today on CNN.com, and I also heard it on the news, that the ban on silicone breast implants has been removed because they have been deemed safe.
When I first heard this news, I was like this: >.<
But then I had to stop and think of the absolute stupidity of the matter. BREAST IMPLANTS. Seriously!
When there are people still dying of AIDs, I do not care about breast implants. When there are kids and adults still dying of cancer, I do not care about breast implants. When there are people in the world still starving, I do not care about breast implants. When we are stuck in a war and don't know what the hell is going on, I do not care about breast implants. When there is still injustice within our own judicial systems, I do not care about breast implants.
If you haven't gotten the message yet, I do not care about breast implants. We're still dying. We're still killing the planet.
Let's face it. There are more important issues. Maybe if the people that spent their livelyhoods making breast implants and proving that they are harmless spent less time on that and more time on the issues listed above, we could have a better world.
i may get a lot of replies to this, i may not. honestly, i don't care. this is mostly for myself. and maybe a few close friends.
there's no real reason to add me, i suppose. i think i'm a fairly interesting person. i guess i just have a lot to say that i'll end up saying in public posts. but anything about my person life will be private.
so if you do want to hear me whine about how much my life sucks, go ahead and comment. ye shall be added.
